BESC Regatta - Saturday 27 May to Monday 29 May 2023

Event

The 2023 BESC Regatta will be held at the Island Sailing Club, in Cowes on the Isle of Wight on Saturday 27 May through Monday 29 May.

For long standing competitors, this will be a lovely opportunity to reconnect with crew friends and fellow competitors.  For the more experienced racers, this will be a great event to go racing again in good company and meet new faces.  For novices and less experienced sailors, this will be a fun way to discover what a sailing regatta is all about, meet other competitors and go back to our weekly lives with lots of sailing memories.

The weekend will involve a pursuit race (with the slowest boats starting first) and a handicap fleet race on the Saturday, and a further two handicap fleet races on the Sunday.  The regatta is open to all, regardless of experience, although the skipper of each yacht must understand the Racing Rules.  Entry is for Cruiser Class yachts (for precise details, see the Notice of Race coming soon).
